The Office
Squire and Partners is a friendly and inclusive office, where hard work is combined with a lively social life and strong team spirit. Staff are supported and encouraged throughout their architectural studies, and can find a range of work at the practice from small public commissions through to substantial mixed-use developments and urban masterplans in the UK and abroad. The practice also enters several competitions per year which are open to the whole office for ideas and participation.
On the social side, the practice has its own bar and restaurant, 06 St Chad's Place - a stone's throw from the office - where DJ's play every Friday night. Office teams play football on a weekly basis, and play softball against other architects and consultants during the summer.
Every year the entire office is invited to attend the practice architectural trip abroad - past destinations have included Paris, Havana, Chicago, Athens and Copenhagen.
