CAD Manager
Squire and Partners are a London based architectural practice with a large number of varied projects throughout the UK and Europe. We are looking for a CAD Manager to support our existing IT team. An excellent knowledge of Microstation V8i is essential. You will be responsible for managing and reviewing the existing office CAD standards, provide user support for general CAD/IT queries and train staff to operate the office CAD systems. The role will involve the following: • Configuration and implementation of CAD software using excel and visual basic programming. • Design, development and delivery of corporate CAD standards. • Enforcement of company CAD procedures. • User support and training development work. • Monitoring and review of the utilisation of CAD on projects. • Integration of CAD with other linked applications including databases, desktop publishing, and extranet systems. • Liaison with IT personnel and external collaborators to provide integrated technology solutions. • Maintenance and delivery of training material, standards drawings and libraries. • Knowledge of current software trends and technical development.
