Squire and Partners have been using their experience in design and development to grow a small property and business portfolio over the past 10 years. We developed our own BCO award-winning offices in Kings Cross in 2001, along with an adjacent bar/restaurant, 6 St Chad's Place, a couple of years later, winning an FX Interior Design Award and a Camden Design Award.

In 2007, we completed a speculative new-build development in Northdown Street, also in King's Cross, comprising fourteen residential apartments and three floors of offices. The practice additionally purchased a site in Clapham and gained planning consent for residential development in the future.

Alongside the property interests, we also wholly own Urban Golf, a state-of-the-art indoor golf simulation facility, which has two successful outlets in Soho and Smithfield, and a third opening in March 2010 adjacent to High Street Kensington tube station.

The development side of the office is unique amongst architectural practices, and demonstrates Squire and Partners' understanding of the commercial nature of architecture, as well as the aesthetics of good design. As with all developments undertaken at the practice, we believe that high quality design and execution adds value and makes property more desirable.
